CONCEPT & STORYBOARD ARTIST

We were tasked to revamp the identity for Hampshire Cricket as well as produce a five year strategy and vision that would attract more players, spectators and funding to the Hampshire Cricket Foundation. We went on to produce two meaningful videos; one to build awareness for the Foundation – the other to inspire a generation of new players and demonstrate the positive benefits that Hampshire Cricket and its associated outreach programs had on the wider community.

The project began with creating a stunning new brand identity for an amazing foundation that helps to improve health, reduce heart disease and obesity throughout Hampshire. The brand created would convey the incredible work carried out by Hampshire Cricket Foundation, thereby boosting participation in school cricket, helping battle obesity, and improve heart health and screening.

With the Foundation already doing amazing work throughout Hampshire, we set out to produce a portrait-style introduction video for which I created the concept, storyboard and production plans for. The video had to convey the incredible work carried out by Hampshire Cricket Foundation, as well as compel the audience to contribute their fund-raising efforts.

BRING THE BEAT

Hampshire Cricket later needed a defining purpose to their five year plan that would form the cornerstone of their presentation to the ECB (England and Wales Cricket Board), so the second video came about to help outline a strategy that was able to unite everyone, from those funding to those playing the game. The two minutes highlights what Hampshire Cricket aims to give back to its community with three core missions; Community, Unity and Opportunity.

PLAY IT FORWARD

Collaborating on multiple touch-points, I was involved end-to-end from creating the narrative and storyboard, to presenting to the client, to briefing the motion graphics. HCF now has a bold new look to help them to raise their profile, top their fundraising targets and spread greater health and happiness through the power of sport.
