Milwaukee is the world’s leading professional power tool brand. Events such as their annual conference is the opportunity to showcase the innovations that will drive future sales and shape the job sites of the future. 2020 included the preparation and delivery of their annual conference that would consolidate and maintain the brand’s position at the head of the pack.

This was the perfect opportunity to pour my collective creative skills into, including graphic design, production planning and direction, as well as creating the written narrative and storyboards of a multi-screen CGI opening video. The collaboration of CGI artists, copywriters and VO artists became part of a live performance.

With the conference being hosted in Monte Carlo, we united the event theme around the iconic Formula Grand Prix. The challenge was to portray all of Milwaukee’s product range, their teams and their latest innovations and achievements, all within two-minutes. I wrote and storyboarded a concept which was to utilise the brand’s latest M18 battery as a vessel that would lead the audience around a race track, passing all elements that make up the brand in quick succession.

Acting as an extension of the creative team, I was involved in producing scamps for environmental design, graphics for large format POS and print, as well as leading various video and photography campaigns to feature around the conference.
